This channel is a way of sharing incredibly rare Prog/Psych/Folk/Glam music (mainly from the 1960s -70`s) with youtubers, it will feature some of the rarest ever vinyl releases, many complete Albums with photos of their artwork and obscure band photos, plus sharing some unreleased recordings that I have access to. As a collector some I own, some I have now sold, some I am unlikely to own (i.e Bread & Beer band). When it comes to values/prices they will usually be for Mint/Near Mint original 1st Issue pressings which are now very rare and the price quoted is the price they have sold for in that condition. Here is a copy of `Paix` a Psych/Prog/Space Rock epic by French band Catherine Ribiero & Alpes, originally released only in France on the Philips Label (6325 019) in 1972. It came in a gatefold sleeve. While average copies are still available at reasonable prices a top copy sold in 2016 for £90!

Catherine Ribeiro + Alpes were a French band formed in 1968. It consisted of singer Catherine Ribeiro and composer Patrice Moullet. The other members changed through every record. While their style was mostly folk and psychedelic rock in their first years, they also included elements of avant-garde into their music. Their lyrics often dealt with political and social issues, and they were all written by Catherine Ribeiro, who is also notable for her very special singing style, chaotic and expressive. They disbanded in 1981.
Paix is the fourth studio album by French singer Catherine Ribeiro and her third with the band Alpes. It was originally released in 1972 by Philips Records.
The album integrates the group's original folk-oriented sound within the progressive style of their preceding records, with complex instrumentation, longform compositions, and psychedelic soundscapes. It has been described as containing Ribeiro's most experimental work and is generally considered by critics to be the best album in Alpes' catalogue.]

So rare as only 1000 copies were released just in Italy in 1972 on the Dischi Produzioni Ventotto label (PRV LP/2204) by Italian/German band `Analogy`. It came in a very flimsy sleeve some wrapped within 6-parts folded promo poster. Here we have a copy of `Wake Up` by German Prog outfit `Out Of Focus` released in 1971 on the German Rock label KUCKUCK (2375 006). It was reissued by the same company in 1991 with a different catalogue number but it is the original with 2375 006 that is of real value, a copy sold in 2015 for £663.00, so definitely worth looking out for. I never knew Golden Earring had any other albums. "Moontan" was one of my first albums in 1974 "Radar Love" got my attention on the radio. "Candy's Goin' Bad" and "Vanilla Queen" blew me away on the record. It opened my mind up to their combined music genius. No "one hit wonder" but limited air play of the other great compositions made me want to hear more. I'm glad I chose to buy it back then.

loads of people knew his music and he was regarded as one of the very best acoustic guitarists in Britain . His solo work did not make him many fans , but his work with Liverpool Scene is top of the art subculture . Also played for Scaffold . Two sublime compositions can be found on the Urban Cowboy album . Home Again and Grannys Wall .

Really weak lyrics, even for a "psyche rock" band. The only gem on this album was written by a real lyricist (My Uncle Used To Love Me, But She Died - Roger Miller). There were good drugs in the late 60's. They didn't always produce the best music, though. Thanks for uploading!
